Western Star 5800

Western Star's set-back-axle step toward the aerodynamic highway hauler.

The 5800 was Western Star's set-back-axle on-highway conventional of the 1990s — a more aerodynamic alternative to the brawny 4900 — running Detroit Series 60, Cat 3406/C12 and Cummins M11 power before it bowed out for model-year 2001.
