International LoneStar

International LoneStar

Retro-styled showpiece inspired by the 1930s.

Unveiled at the 2008 Chicago Auto Show -- billed as the largest road vehicle ever shown at the event -- the LoneStar was Navistar's premium flagship, its swept-back grille and hood styled as an "Advanced Classic" inspired by the late-1930s International Harvester D-series. After a run spanning the 2009 to 2024 model years, the final LoneStar (the 7,077th unit built) rolled off the Chatham, Ontario line in December 2023 and was delivered to a Canadian carrier that had helped develop the truck.
