International WorkStar (7400/7600)

International WorkStar (7400/7600)

The vocational workhorse of its era.

The WorkStar arrived for the 2008 model year when International dropped its numeric "thousand series" badging (7000, 8000, 9000) in favor of descriptive names, rebranding the 7400/7600 severe-duty trucks with a new hood, grille and MaxxForce engine options. Built for tough vocational work, it offered 6x4 and 6x6 tandems plus an unusual 8x6 tridem on the 7600, with ratings up to 76,000 pounds GVWR before the HV Series replaced it in 2018.
