About the International LoneStar

Unveiled at the 2008 Chicago Auto Show -- billed as the largest road vehicle ever shown at the event -- the LoneStar was Navistar's premium flagship, its swept-back grille and hood styled as an "Advanced Classic" inspired by the late-1930s International Harvester D-series. After a run spanning the 2009 to 2024 model years, the final LoneStar (the 7,077th unit built) rolled off the Chatham, Ontario line in December 2023 and was delivered to a Canadian carrier that had helped develop the truck.

About the Kenworth W900

Introduced in 1961, the W900 (the 'W' honors Kenworth co-founder Edgar Worthington) defined the long-hood American conventional and pioneered bulkhead-style doors with full-length hinges that rivals later copied. The 1990 W900L added 10 inches of hood, and after a 63-year run Kenworth confirmed in 2025 that the legendary truck would end production in 2026.
