Part of Peterbilt's modern medium-duty range, the Model 537 is a Class 7 truck (GVWR up to 33,000 lbs) and the Model 536 is its Class 6 sibling, both built on a 2.1-meter-wide aluminum cab with multiplex electrical wiring for easier upfitting. They run PACCAR PX-7 and PX-9 diesels (up to 450 hp and 1,250 lb-ft on the PX-9) plus gasoline and natural-gas options, covering vocational work from tow and dump to pickup and delivery.
