Peterbilt 379

The legend that started the long-hood cult.

Produced from 1987 to 2007, the long-nose 379 became one of the most beloved owner-operator trucks ever, with the final 1,000 units sold as the special Legacy Class 379. Its star turn came in pop culture: a 1994 Peterbilt 379 served as the real-world body of Optimus Prime in the 2007 Transformers film, with red flames painted over a blue cab.
