Ram 3500 Chassis Cab

The work-ready one-ton chassis.

The 3500 is the entry point of Ram's chassis-cab family, a Class 3 truck sold with no factory bed -- just a cab and straight, pre-drilled flat frame rails built for upfitting into dump trucks, ambulances, flatbeds, and service bodies. It runs the 6.7L Cummins turbo diesel I-6 at 360 hp and 800 lb-ft, below the Ram 3500 pickup's available High-Output Cummins (up to 430 hp / 1,075 lb-ft), and tows up to roughly 25,680 lbs with the diesel. It sits below the heavier 4500 and 5500 as the lightest, most affordable rung of the commercial chassis-cab line.
