Freightliner Coronado

Freightliner Coronado

Freightliner's big-chrome flagship of its era.

Unveiled in late 2000 / January 2001 for the 2002 model year, the Coronado was Freightliner's chrome-heavy, long-nose conventional courting traditional and owner-operator buyers, offered with Cummins, Caterpillar and Detroit engines. The original on-highway Coronado was discontinued in 2010, but its rugged DNA lives on in the current 122SD severe-duty truck.
