Volvo Trucks VHD

Volvo Trucks VHD

The job-site Volvo, built to abuse.

Volvo's heavy vocational workhorse for construction, dump, mixer, and refuse duty, the VHD got an edgy restyle in 2019 and spans an unusually wide range of off-highway layouts including twin-steer, 8x4, and 8x6 tri-drive configurations. Its standard T-Ride suspension uses trunnion-mounted springs to deliver a full 17 inches of cross-articulation at each wheel end with rear-axle capacities up to 58,000 lb, keeping all wheels planted on broken job-site terrain.
