Ford F-550 Super Duty

The Super Duty chassis cab that does everything.

Introduced for the 1999 model year (production began January 1998), the F-550 Super Duty pushed Ford's Super Duty line into the Class 5 chassis-cab market alongside the new F-450, bridging the gap between the pickups and the much larger F-650/F-750. Sold as a dual-rear-wheel chassis cab, it can pull as much as roughly 24,100 lb with a gooseneck or fifth-wheel hitch.
