Autocar DC-64

Purpose-built severe-duty, no compromises.

Debuted in 2019 as the DC-64R, it was the first all-new conventional-cab truck Autocar had built in 31 years, reviving the DC nameplate the company first used in 1939 for its premier diesel severe-duty work truck. It is the first truck ever built with frame rails made from ultra-high-strength 160,000 PSI steel, which Autocar says is 24% stronger and lighter than the 120,000 PSI rails used on competing trucks, and it carries the driver-facing 'Always Up' display with one-touch diagnostics that tells the operator exactly what fault occurred and how to fix it.
