About the Mack Trucks Anthem

Introduced in September 2017 as Mack's redesigned on-highway tractor, the Anthem had its aerodynamics validated with coast-down testing on the runways at NASA's Kennedy Space Center. Mack credited those refinements plus the MP8-TC engine with up to an 11.8% improvement in fuel efficiency over its earlier GHG2014-era trucks. It has since been repositioned below the new Pioneer flagship that arrived for 2025.

About the International LT Series

Launched on September 30, 2016 in Las Vegas as International's driver-centric Class 8 on-highway flagship and the replacement for the 10-year-old ProStar, the LT (for Line-haul Tractor) debuted with the new 2017 Cummins X15 rated up to 565 hp in the performance series. Its reworked aerodynamics delivered roughly 7% better fuel economy than a 2017 ProStar with the Cummins ISX15, and the Bendix Wingman Advanced collision mitigation system came standard on every model in the series.
